About Rosemount Aerospace, Inc.

Rosemount Aerospace, Inc. started as a subdivision of Rosemount Engineering (founded in 1956). In 1966, Rosemount Aerospace, Inc. diversified to form Rosemount, Inc. Associated only by name, Rosemount, Inc. was acquired by Emerson Electric Company in 1976, and still operates today. Rosemount and Rosemount Engineering Company were acquired by Goodrich in 1993 and merged with Goodrich Sensor Systems. By 2012, UTC had acquired Goodrich and accordingly acquired Rosemount Aerospace, Inc. and Rosemount Engineering Company. Rosemount Aerospace, Inc. and Rosemount Engineering Company now operate within the Collins Aerospace business segment of UTC.
