Raytheon provides civil systems and services including air traffic control and weather processing hardware, software, and communications. Raytheon offers components for satellite-based augmentation; real-time data processing; precision navigation and landing systems; ground based detect and avoid systems (GBDAA); and surveillance/radar systems. They provide air traffic control systems for the FAA and are the prime contractor of the weather forecasting data and display toolkit used by NOAA.
Raytheon product lines are organized within their five operating segments. Product offerings are focused within the following applications: missile defense; command and control; sensors and imaging; cyber technology; electronic warfare; precision weapons; training services; and mission support.
Integrated Defense Systems (IDS)
Air and missile defense systems; missile defense radars; early warning radars; naval ship operating systems; command and control systems. IDS includes three product lines: Integrated Air & Missile Defense Systems; Seapower Compatibility Systems; and Advanced Technology (AT).
Intelligence, Information, and Services (IIS)
IIS includes military and civil software and systems for cyber; multidomain battlespace management command and control; navigation and weather services; space; and mission readiness. IIS has two main product lines: Cybersecurity and Special Missions (CSM), and Global training Solutions (GTS).
Provides product lines involving strategic and naval systems products; air warfare systems; land warfare systems; and advanced missile systems. This segment encompasses the design, integration, and support for weapons systems and missile defense. It includes hypersonic, semi-autonomous, and netted weapons systems.
Space and Airborne Systems (SAS)
SAS involves radar and sensor systems for space and airborne platforms, and special mission aircraft. SAS product lines include Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems (ISRS); Secure Sensor Solutions; Electronic Warfare Systems; and Integrated Communication Systems (ICS). SAS products encompass airborne radar systems; electronic warfare systems; high-energy lasers; intelligence; surveillance and reconnaissance; and space systems. SAS is the prime contractor for the Electro-Optical Distributed Aperture System (EODAS) of Lockheed Martin’s F-35 fighter jet.
